But I will tell you, as a woman, we never forget that "bad boys" either...or well some of us!

Personally, I found the right girl, and I'm not a "bad boy". Well, unless she wants me to be of course .
But seriously, I think Bill's got the gist of it.

Right. You don't forget the "bad boy" 'cause he gave you some excitement. That's precisely the thing most nice guys miss: give the girl a thrill, and I'm not talking about the bedroom necessarily. If a girl thinks she can get some excitement, but stay relatively safe with her guy (or at least he watches out for her), she'll likely want to stay with him over searching further for a guy who's dangerous.
I don't believe any rational woman would want to stay with a man who's constantly living on the edge because she could never feel safe around him herself. A died-in-the-wool "bad boy" either hurts himself or his woman, sometimes both.
Nice guys typically play it safe and are usually more cerebral or emotional (often both) than physical. Problem is, a girl needs to live an adventure as much as that "momma's boy" does. Nice guys, you (we) all need to learn to unleash the lion inside and take some risks. Your girl will love you for it in the long run.

I've seen more astounding things than that. This was simply the logical progression of the conversation once people with a brain got involved.
